The objectives for these game types vary from quickplay and ranked modes. Ranked mode usually has longer games and harder objectives.
The main objective of this game mode is to be the first team to eliminate a specific amount of enemies.
In the Ranked queue, the first team to eliminate 20 enemies wins while in Quickplay mode the objective is only 10 eliminations.
- Once the match enters the overtime, each kill counts double!
- After being respawned, you become invincible for a short period!
There are 2 payload types within the game, the standard found in most payload games and the Defender vs Attacker only found in the Slamhattan Map. The difference between these is that in the Slamhattan map each team is assigned a role and will only need to either defend by stopping the payload or attack by pushing the payload to the point.
In the standard version, both teams attack and try to push the payload to the goal in order to win.
Stay within the payload’s circle to move it. If none of your teammates is within the circle and the enemy is in it, the payload will move towards your territory. When your team and the enemy is within the circle, the payload becomes "contested" and the payload stops to move. Stop the payload by all cost!
Teams need to take control over zones to gather points. The more zones you control, the faster you get points. Reach 100 points for winning the match!
The main objective is to defeat the other two teams and to be the last team standing. The 1st and 2nd place earn trophies while the last place loses some.
The Danger Zone reduces steadily the play area dealing damage to players being inside of that zone.
This game type is only available for matching in the Royale queue.
